A public policy and management specialist, David worked for the Government of South Australia for over a decade in agencies including transport, regional development, science and research and international trade. He has travelled extensively across South East Asia, India and China as an official representative of the South Australian Government, working to develop trade and investment opportunities across the region. In 2016 he relocated to London and then to Yangon, where he now works as a Lecturer with EEC Myanmar.
A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University (USA) and The University of Adelaide (Australia), he is passionate about social justice, the environment and sustainable economic development. He has volunteered for several not-for-profit organisations in Australia and the UK, includingfive years as Treasurer and member of theBoard of Management for the Camden Community Centre.
