Anna Szaniawska graduated from the University of Warsaw where she holds MA degree in English Studies. She specializes in teaching: General, Business and Academic English. Her passion for teaching began more than 13 years ago and has not stopped ever since. Teaching at a number of institutions, public and private language schools and also companies, gave her a greater perspective on teaching at different levels, working with various age groups and understanding the needs of her students. For a few years Anna worked as a language school manager where she was responsible for organizing and administering business language courses for the most substantial Polish companies. She was in charge of preparing courses’ syllabi, organizing teachers’ training workshops and implementing the online component of the course. Currently, at SWPS she works as a Preparatory School lecturer, where she teaches students from abroad and helps them master their language skills before their studies in English begin. Her method comes down to: “Show your students the beauty of language and they will love it. Show them how it works and they will learn to communicate”. Apart from being a lecturer, Anna is also a freelance translator. She has translated a book on diabetics and specializes in translating film subtitles and scripts.
